Job Opportunity: Senior Data Analyst

Role Type: 12-Month Contract

Client: Tier 1 Banking Group

Location: Sydney CBD (Hybrid – Min. 3 days in-office)

The Opportunity

Join a high-profile transformation program within a Tier 1 Bank. This is not a BAU role; we are looking for a Data Quality Specialist to lead migration-focused analysis. You will be the bridge between complex data architecture and senior executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Migration Quality: Drive data quality workstreams for large-scale migrations, ensuring integrity and accuracy.

  • Technical Execution: Perform deep-dive profiling and rule-building using Informatica and Expert-level SQL.

  • Executive Reporting: Translate technical anomalies into high-level insights for Board-level reporting.

  • Stakeholder Management: Autonomously manage relationships with senior stakeholders to present findings and drive remediation.

Technical Requirements

  • Expert SQL: Mastery of complex queries is non-negotiable.

  • Informatica: Hands-on experience within a data quality or migration context.

  • Project Mindset: Proven experience delivering within structured Programs/Projects (vs. BAU).

  • Domain Knowledge: Previous experience in a Tier 1 Banking environment is highly preferred.
